1. 20. Binomial Distribution 2 [2021]
Finishing up Binomial Distribution, we looked at solving unknowns ( n and x vs p - what's the difference? ) and a very specific type of question: range of p, given mode. We then consolidated our skills on some Integrated Questions. As we wrap up the chapter, some ideas to consolidate: 1) Always prepare/consider the 3 lines - RV, Distribution and Probability. 2) Use a well constructed RV statement to position the question 3) When solving an unknown, is it an Integer, or p ( 0 < p < 1 ) ? 4) When explaining suitability: probability → constant, event → independent, don't mix this up! 4) Does the wording of the question suggest Conditional Probability?
